Too busy to write today

So, why am I writing a blog? Basically, I have no idea. I have to get my car washed and oil changed because I'm taking a long trip over the weekend. I have a major recertification class at 6 p.m. tonight which will take the rest of today and all of tomorrow. I've got laundry that needs to be done and a house that would be condemned if the Good Housekeeping people ever came to visit. So why am I here? Because I couldn't resist the chance to avoid all of my responsibilities for a few moments and wax creative. Shoot, I've got deadlines and proposals to do. I don't have time to blog. And yet, I think that's what makes it all worthwhile. Writing for the pure, simple pleasure of it. Hmmm. Before I carry on with my schedule, I think I'll take a bubble bath. After all, what good is it being the Queen of My World, if I can't do some fun stuff? Exactly. Have a great day, gentle reader. I'm lifting my glass of Aquafina to you. This one's on me!
